The Boston Red Sox' Tim Wakefield beat the New York Yankees for the second time in the ALCS series. Yanks coach Don Zimmer behaved himself last night and stayed away from punk wannabe Pedro Martinez. This afternoon's game could be the eventual American League winner.
The Atlantic Coast Conference had gone berry picking in the Big East patch again and plucked Boston College. This will give the ACC 12 teams and the lucrative conference football championship game it craves so much. The Big East has already filed a lawsuit claiming damages to its athletic programs. I don't see any of the Big East teams coming back. Get over it.
After last night's 36-0 beating at the hands of the St. Louis Rams, the Atlanta Falcons must be praying for the return of Michael Vick more than ever. The Falcons are a completely different team without their star QB. Even the defense seems hogtied without him.
